About the Author: Katie . 21 . college student . supernatural lover . devoted follower of leecifer Inspiration: The idea for this fic came about while having a conversation with my beloved Ash, after watching "The Smell of Success". There's a scene when Emerson and Chuck are asking Ned about his ex-girlfriends. He mentions reasons why it didn't work out, one of which was "having intimate relations on a bearskin rug". Ash and I had a conversation about that, because my first thought was Ned and Dean on a bearskin rug. And what went from an idea for a short little cracky drabble, has turned into a whole plot. The fic is set near the end of season three of Supernatural and shortly pre-series for Pushing Daisies. About the Story: With little more than a month left before his deal comes due, Dean Winchester leaves his brother behind, unable to take the look of fear and sadness on Sam's face.
